IMI1 – Call 8

IMI1 – Call 8 was launched on 17 December 2012 with the following topics:

  • Discovery and development of new drugs combatting Gram – negative infections
    (part of the IMI New Drugs for Bad Bugs (ND4BB) programme)
  • European induced pluripotent stem cell bank
  • Developing an aetiology-based taxonomy of human disease
    This Call theme consists of two topics:
    • Approaches to develop a new classification for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and related connective tissue disorders and rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
    • Approaches to develop a new classification for neurodegenerative disorders with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
