Info Session: funding opportunities with the Innovative Medicines Initiative
Start Date 28/06/2013On 28 June 2013, IMI held an info session in Barcelona, Spain on its forthcoming funding opportunities in collaborative research and innovation. The session gathered over 100 scientists, researchers and SME representatives interested learning more about IMI’s future Calls for proposals.
The first session of the event focused on the experience of participants in the eTOX and Europain projects.
The second part of the info session provided information about the rules and procedures for participating in IMI projects, as well as IMI’s financial and intellectual property rules. Participants also had an opportunity to learn about tips and tricks to prepare a successful proposal and to have an overview of topics for IMI’s forthcoming Calls for proposals.

About MIHealth
This IMI info session was a satellite event of MIHealth, the Health Management & Clinical Innovation Forum and took place at the Montjuïc Exhibition Centre of Fira Barcelona. MIHealth aimed to provide a multi-sector, across-the-board response to the present and future challenges facing the healthcare sector. This event provided an insight into new technologies applied to clinical management for better efficiency, and built a global platform that aligns supply from companies and demanded by healthcare professionals and organisations.
